Here is a matcha trip's recommended matcha recipes.
Today's theme is two layers of matcha latte.

For matcha latte, we reccomend matcha B, which has a strong flavor and goes well with dairy products.

Let's make beautiful matcha latte that devided into 2 layers!


Check 3 simple ingredients to make matcha latte.
matcha B 4g
✔milk 100mL
✔water 50mL

①Dissolve the matcha into water.
Weigh 4g of matcha powder in a bowl and add 15mL of water.
Lightly press the chasen against the inside of the tea bowl and mix while crushing the lumps.
If you sift the matcha powder with sieve, it will be smoother.

②Add more 30mL of water to ①.
Whisk the matcha tea!

③Pour 100mL of milk into a glass and add ②.


Here's some important point for making beautiful 2 layers.
①Pour the matcha tea gently.
In order to separate the layers clearly, it's so impotant not to cause convection when adding matcha.
Specifically, pour from a low position.
It's recommended to pour it from zero disutance using a spoon.
If there is ice in the beverage, it's also recommended to pour toward the ice above the surface of the milk.

②Put sugar into milk not into matcha tea.
Sugar makes the liquid heavier and more likely to sink.
In the process of making matcha latte, if sugar is added to matcha tea instead of milk, the 2 layers will not separate.
